The lithium battery can be charged with 0.5C, even 1C, they can be fully charged in a very short time. But for lead acid battery, their charge current is only 0.2C, so it cost much longer time to fully charge. Due to this reason, the lithium ion battery can provide faster and more power after discharge. Lead acid battery only has one type fast charge battery, it is the lead carbon fast charge battery.
5. battery protection
The LiFePO4 battery module come with smart BMS, they are able to prevent battery from short circuit,
over charge, over discharge and so on. The lead acid battery doesn’t have any protection.
