0.75MW/1.8MWh Energy Storage Project of Fujian Magaoai Memorial Hospital

On December 31, 2018, the first phase of the 0.75MW/1.8MWh energy storage project of Fujian Magaoai Memorial Hospital was successfully put into operation.

This project is the first hospital system energy storage project in Fujian Province. It can realize peak-shaving and valley-filling of the power grid when the power grid is normally powered, and can quickly disconnect the power grid in the event of a power outage to ensure the power supply of important loads in the hospital.

Peking University International Hospital actively responds to the national policy of energy conservation and emission reduction, and bravely tries the application of new technologies in order to improve the safety of electricity use, improve the utilization efficiency of electric energy and deal with the power shortage problem during the peak period of electricity consumption. The energy storage power station is connected to the low-voltage side of the transformer. When the energy storage system discharges to the 400V bus, it is strictly forbidden to reversely transmit power to the high-voltage side to ensure the reliability of power consumption.

In terms of economy, the energy storage power station adopts the form of energy management contract, and the construction of the idle space does not require hospital investment. Install energy storage power station, store electric energy (battery) during off-peak hours, supply power to power loads during peak hours, and use the “peak-valley electricity price difference” to reduce electricity charges for power users. The energy storage station is expected to save electricity costs: 160,000 yuan per year.
