VRLA battery is AGM battery technology (full name is Absorbed Glass Mat Battery), it is free maintenance sealed lead acid battery. The VRLA battery is assembled with tight high pressure and sealed, to prevent the electrolyte loss during charge and discharge, therefore the VRLA battery is also called starved starved-electrolyte battery.
